I believe that people do the best with what they have.  Trauma, stress, anxiety and adverse life experiences can, at times, derail us from being our “best”.  My role as a therapist is to help you reach your pinnacle.  I always work from a strengths-based and client-centered focus.  The client is the expert of their own life, but I serve as an agent for change to assist in developing, applying and supporting the therapeutic growth.  I have experience with children, teenagers, young adults (up to age 35), couples and families.

I have over 14 years of experience in the mental health field.  In my 12 years of direct clinical experience, I have worked with a wide range of ages and family system dynamics (foster, adoptive and extended families).  I specialize in challenging youth, young adults and family systems.  My experience is in the areas of anger management/emotional regulation, trauma, healthy dynamics of family functioning and transitional youth (choices made during this age span 18-25).

My goal as a therapist is to help you/your family through your difficult life situation.  We will work together to find resiliency to sustain your progress and continue the growth towards your goals.
